Things I learned from others

I watched Rochelle's presentation. She had some really interesting information. I liked the info about the laptops. They are probably cheaper than books, and will allow all children to use technology. Rochelle talked about a program called Starfall. During my practicum as one of the literacy centers, students could use Starfall. They all really seemed to enjoy it. Tuesdays were the day they used it, and they were so excited during center time to get to use the computer. This has helped me realize that technology really motivates kids to learn. They can accomplish so much more just by using a computer, camera or any other tool.
